5.11 Mission Response Rolling Duffel Bag

Recently I picked up a 5.11 Mission Response Rolling Duffel from thefirestore.com for 85.00 on clearance, usually 169.99.

Sorry for the stock photo. I haven't packed it out yet, and it looks better full.

I haven't seen any reviews on this so I thought I would do one. The spec's on this bag can be found at 5.11 Tactical's Website

Immediately you notice the oversized zipper pulls. This thing is more a piece of luggage than a rolling duffel bag. There are 5 outside pockets and 3 inside pockets.

This pocket is on the front flap of the bag

This is on the inside flap of the bag

The interior main compartment is very large and has a mesh seperator.

The back of the bag is a hard rubberized plastic with lots of protection, and a decent pull handle that does collapse.

Decent wheels on the bottom

With multiple carry options

My main concern with this bag is that it is 30x20x13 (fully packed). That's 63 inches in the world of air travel, and most airlines only allow 62. So with the cinch cords on the side, I am going to pack light and pull it down tight to see if the dimentions are a little less and see if I get hit when I go to Vegas in a few weeks.

Overall, I am pleased and I give it 4 out of 5 stars - I would give it 5 if it was under the normal 62 inch limit for the airlines. However, I think I have found my new piece of luggage for a 5-8 day trip.
